Full-Line Headway Analysis — GoA4 CBTC
Define the complete line geometry as PK segments (chainage, grade, speed limit). Mark station stops with individual dwell times. The tool numerically integrates train dynamics through each inter-station and computes the minimum headway considering the complete operational cycle: H = t_dwell + t_run + t_CBTC_separation + t_margin.
01
Define Line Profile
Enter PK segments with grade (‰) and speed limit. Mark each station with its individual dwell time.
02
Calculate Headway
Numerical simulation per inter-station. H = t_dwell + t_run + t_CBTC + t_margin.

Section Analysis
Headway and component breakdown per inter-station. Bottleneck highlighted.

Sensitivity Analysis
How does H_min respond to changes in dwell, CBTC reaction time and grades?
Line Profile — PK Segments
Each row = one track segment. Check "Station" at the END of a segment to mark a stopping point.
| # | PK Start (m) | PK End (m) | Grade (‰) i+ = uphill · − = downhill. Affects traction running time and emergency braking distance. | Vmax (km/h) | Station at end? | Station name | Dwell (s) iTotal stop time from arrival to departure: includes door cycle, passenger exchange and platform clearance. Each station can have a different value. |
